Brian
G. Forrester, MD, MPH
The medical director of Regional FirstCare Occupational Health Services
is Brian G. Forrester, MD, MPH. Dr. Forrester is residency trained and
board certified in occupational medicine, the first such physician to
prac- tice in the northeast Georgia area. Dr. Forrester graduated in 1980
from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Chemistry. He obtained his
medical degree from Emory University in 1984, and was an Undersea Medical
Officer in the Navy from 1985 to 1989, practicing diving medicine and
radiation health.
Dr. Forrester completed
his residency in occupational medicine at Johns Hopkins University in
1991, concurrently earning a Master of Public Health degree in Occupational
Health and Safety. From 1991 to 1998, Dr. Forrester was Associate Professor
of Occupational Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB),
and also was the Associate Director of the Occupational Medicine Residency
Program at UAB. He joined Regional FirstCare in July of 1998.
Kelly
Mackey, MD
Dr. Kelly Mackey is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. Dr.
Mackey received his medical degree from the Medical University of South
Carolina in 1989. He completed his residency training in family medicine
at Anderson Memorial Hospital in 1992. Dr. Mackey is board certified by
the American Board of Family Practice and practiced family medicine from
1992 until 1999. He joined Regional FirstCare in 1999 and is now involved
in acute care medicine and Occupational Medicine.
