New Regional FirstCare Facility!
Jefferson Medical
In its effort to better serve Northeast Georgia's rapidly growing population and its medical needs, Athens Regional Health Services (ARHS) opened the doors to its newest affiliated health services facility, Jefferson Medical, on Wednesday, January 31, 2007.
Athens Regional's Jefferson Medical facility is the newest addition to the family of Athens Regional Health Services. The two-story, 14,600 square foot facility is conveniently located on the Jefferson Highway 129 in Jefferson near the intersection of Highway 129 and Highway 11 at 528 Panther Drive.
Jefferson Medical will provide Jackson and surrounding county residents and businesses with the highest quality health care available. The facility currently houses Regional FirstCare with X-ray and laboratory services. Family Medicine and Occupational Medicine will be added in the near future. Board-certified physicians will provide care in Regional FirstCare, Fmily Medicine and Occupational Medicine.
No appointment is needed and wait times are minimal for use of the Regional FirstCare at Jefferson Medical. Patients should consider using this service for immediate, walk-in care needs such as: sprains, broken bones, cuts, Tetanus shots, poison ivy treatment, sports physicals, fish hook removal, rashes, fever, Strep throat, cold adn flu, respiratory infections and more.
