ARMC Announces East Tower Expansion

To Begin October 10th

Athens Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that on Monday, October 10th, we will begin a major expansion of our Emergency Department, Central Energy Plant and Family Care Unit – improvements that will allow us to accommodate population growth and continue to provide high quality care to our patients.

Parking will be redirected beginning Friday, October 7th.
Our North Tower entrance will close the following Monday.

EMERGENCY ROOM ACCESS:
During construction, ER patients will enter off King Ave., and free valet parking will be available.

PARKING:
All non-emergency patients, family and visitors will need to park in the South Tower parking deck or the Short Term parking lot on Talmadge Drive.
Areas not affected by the construction include: the Medical Services Building, Talmadge Heights Building, Outpatient Surgery Center, Guest Houses, Loran Smith Center for Cancer
Support and Physicians Imaging Center.
