CT or Computerized Tomography combines radiation and computers to produce cross-section images of various organs.

Different preparations may be necessary for CT exams, as well as the possibility of the injection of a contrast media (dye). Individual preps and procedures will be explained at the time your appointment is made. If your exam involves drinking a certain amount of contrast material, you may be asked to arrive as much as an hour before your scheduled appointment.
