Can anyone really understand what I am going through?

Only cancer survivors truly know the fears and concerns that another person with cancer is experiencing. Many patients have found that a support group has helped them learn more about their cancer and treatment. It can also help them gain more understanding of their own thoughts and feelings during this time. We all tend to think that if we were strong enough, we could fix our own problems and deal with our own fears. That path can be lonely. Talking with other cancer patients helps, because they understand and offer hope and encouragement.
