![]() ![]() The Athens Regional Spine Institute (ARSI) provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of spine disease, with a commitment to evidence-based practice, outcomes enhancement and financial stewardship. Stated simply, ARSI is designed with an emphasis on the non-surgical treatment of spine injury, but provides timely and convenient access to a spine surgeon when needed. The vast majority of back and neck pain patients do not require surgery, and the goal for each patient is the return to activity, movement and fitness. As such, the primary focus of ARSI is to provide timely access to care, while also directing patients to the appropriate provider and treatment plan in an efficient and cost effective manner. This is accomplished through a centralized, team-based approach involving physiatrists, physical therapists and spine surgeons. The end result is a coordinated and streamlined diagnostic and therapeutic treatment process, governed by established clinical pathways.
