Having a sick or injured child is a stressful time for the whole family. Knowing that your child is receiving the best care possible can help calm your concerns. The Pediatric Services at ARMC, has an all RN nursing staff with a strong commitment to your child as an individual and as a family member. As an inpatient, you and your child can expect:

• A family-centered approach to care
• Open parental visitation with overnight accommodations and complimentary meals
• Individualized educational programs with an emphasis on wellness
• Brother and sister visitation time
• Play room staffed with volunteers
• "Cuddlers" to sit with your child when you cannot be present for long periods of time

Pediatric Outpatient Services are provided for short-term treatment or simple procedures upon referral from your private physician

Pediatric Nurse Advice Line is available after hours and on weekends to support you when your child is sick. Pediatric RNs use physician-prepared protocols to answer your questions or help you decided when your pediatrician needs to be called.
