Whether newly diagnosed with diabetes or you've had it for years and need help to "get back on the wagon", Diabetes Education Services has many options to help you manage your diabetes sucessfully.

Diabetes Consultation Individual consultation with a Diabetes Educator(s) which includes a registered nurse, registered dietitian and/or exercise physiologist for problem-solving and support. Call 475-5600 for more information and to schedule an appointment.

Diabetes Self-Management Education This comprehensive educational program includes individual consultation with a registered nurse, registered dietitian and exercise physiologist plus self-management skills classes. Foot and eye screenings are available to participants. Included in the outpatient program is a free eight-week introductory exercise class in the departments own gym. Participants may continue the exercise class for a nominal fee. An appointment is required for all aspects of Diabetes Self-Management Education.
