Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support

“Hope and Courage through Support and Information”

The Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support provides educational, emotional and spiritual support to cancer patients and families in our community. The LSCCS serves as a resource for patients before, during and after cancer treatment by providing support groups, individual and family counseling, educational seminars and a resource library. All services are offered at no charge to anyone in the community.

The LSCCS is staffed with an Oncology Program Manager, Oncology Nurse, a Tumor Registrar, and an office manager in addition to a wonderful team of volunteers, most of them cancer survivors themselves. The goal of the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support is to work together with physicians and other healthcare providers to enhance the sense of well-being and quality of life of patients and family members.
