Types of Giving
Cornerstone Society members will be recognized by handsome plaques on permanent display in the Medical Center. The names of all members will be published in the Medical Center’s publication, Cornerstone. They will receive invitations to functions such as dedications, open houses and other special events and programs. A crystal Frabel of the dogwood, exclusively designed for Cornerstone Society members, is presented upon joining at the annual Cornerstone Society dinner.
Unrestricted dollars for this purpose make it possible for the Medical Center to encourage new program development or to continue the growth of quality programs already in place such as The Loran Smith Cancer Care Center, The Guest House and other programs. The Corporate Honor Roll – The Corporate Honor Roll is sponsored by the Corporate Relations Committee of the Athens Regional Foundation. Your corporate donation will go toward vital funds needed to ensure the Medical Center’s position as one of the leading health care providers in Northeast Georgia. Your gift also ensures that you, your co-workers and your respective families will receive the best medical care possible when it is needed. Memorial and Honorary Donations – Your gift is a special tribute to friends or loved ones. It can be given on a special occasion to honor someone or as a memorial to show you care. Your gift of tribute will be used to advance health care services and will help Athens Regional Medical Center meet the changing healthcare needs of our community. While keeping the amount of your gift confidential, we will acknowledge your gift and its occasion to the person you designate. You, too, will receive acknowledgement of your generosity immediately. The Cradle Roll - The Cradle Roll allows you to purchase an inscription to bear an infant’s name and birth date for a donation of $50. The display is located outside the hospital’s the nursery. Any baby born at Athens Regional can be recognized through the program. Proceeds from this program will the specifically designated for the purchase
of needed medical equipment and supplies in support of Family Care and Neonatal
Services. All gifts are tax-deductible. |
